The picturesque cities bound to Caspian Sea which are situated in the North and North West are worthy of visits both from a historic and scenic point of view. This circle route, starting and ending in Tehran, will create a whole different image of Iran’s nature, Art and History in your mind. This region has a tropical climate in the summer, however the winters are cold; its beautiful sandy beaches are very popular among Iranians as the holiday or weekend resort. Places you are going to visit in this tour are the richest and most fertile, yet they offer more than natural beauty. Some of the most archeological sites and monuments are located in these provinces.
Day 1: Arrive in Tehran

Day 1: Tehran / The gateway
On the arrival, you are to be picked up by our agent and transferred to a hotel to get enough rest and prepare for a lovely welcoming dinner in the afternoon.
Day 2: Alamut, Strange castle on top of mountain
Take a ride to Alamut Castle in the morning. Get ready for light trekking to take you up to the mountain castle which functioned as a major stronghold during the medieval period. It will take half a day to ascend the castle, pay a visit, take memorable pictures, and get back. Enjoy the nature and fresh air while staying overnight in a local house in Alamut.
Day 3-4: Rasht, Green nature
We will continue the tour upward towards Caspian coast; on our way we are visiting Evan Lake which is a great opportunity to take some nice landscape shots. There will be a short stop in Qazvin and then we will continue our way to Rasht. Get ready for another trekking on the next day; climb up to an amazing mountain fortress called Rudkhan Castle. After crossing a mountainous winding route with dense forests, you will get to a strong fortification built on two tips of a mountain with the surface area of 2.6 hectares. Take your time taking photos and exploring the place, and then you are going to make your way to the Masouleh village nearby. Catch the sunset in this village where the yard of each house is also the roof of a house below.
Day 5-6: Sareyn, relax in hot springs
We have an overland trip in a scenic road to Sareyn. Wash your exhaustion in city of Hot Springs. You will see a range of hot refreshing springs near an inactive volcano in mount Sabalan which contain different minerals which help our health. On the way, we may sail boats on the Anzali lagoon. On the 6th day you will have an early morning excursion to experience cold water springs nearby, which are very popular given that they are situated in a small village nearby called Vila Dareh. The water here is fizzy and is perfect for kidneys. The trip will be continued by sightseeing in Ardabil where is the seat of a world heritage site, the sanctuary tomb of Sheikh Safiodin Ardabli which attracts thousands of pilgrims every year.
Day 7-8: Tabriz, Azeri city with a lot to offer
Drive to Tabriz, a spectacular city located in a valley to the north of the long ridge of the volcanic cone of Sahand. The city offers several Sightseeing opportunities ranging from the Elgoli Park, a beautiful blue mosque, Saint Mary church, Grand bazaar, to a 700-year-old rocky village half an hour drive from Tabriz, a village still inhabited in its own style. People live inside interesting volcanic rocks carved in the form of dwelling chambers.
Day 9: Uremia, famous for its lake
Take a 3-hour drive to see the Saint Thaddeus Monastery (Qare Kelisa) which is also known as the black Church, it is a World Heritage Site. It dates back to the 10th century. We are then driving to Uremia which has the largest Christian community in Iran in order to get to know the Christians of Iran better.
Day 10: Takab, Symbolic Zoroastrian
The tour will take you to Takab to visit an archaeological site of Takht-e Soleyman, situated in a valley set in a volcanic mountain region. The site includes the Principal Zoroastrian Sanctuary with important symbolic significance dedicated to the goddess Anahita.
Day 11-12: Hamadan, Ancient city
Proceed your trip taking a four-hour drive to one of the oldest cities embracing great palaces and temples whose remains still lie beneath the modern town. You will enjoy two days learning about Ganj-Nameh, rock carving treasure book traced back to Ancient Persian Empire, Stone-Lion Statue, Jewish Colony, Alevian Tomb, and the Tomb of Avicenna. There are several more tourist attraction sites also worth visiting if time allows us. End the tour in Hamadan with an adventure in the Alisadr Cave.
Day 13, 14: Tehran, alive and busy 24/7
Your tour will end in the Capital city of Iran. While in Tehran, we visit top attraction sites Including Golestan Palace Complex, Jewelry Museum, National Museum which are the highlights and we will dig deep into Iran’s real modern life and socialize with people and learn more about Iran.
Day 15: Imam Khomeini International flight
You will be transferred to Imam Khomeini International Airport for the departure flight and hope to see you again soon and we wish you spread your joyous moments you experienced in Iran and change the image of this great glorious country in the minds of your friends.
